Preserved Military Vehicle Registry Project

Preserved Military Vehicle Registry Project

The Preserved Military Vehicle Registry Project's aim is to build a build a database of all preserved, historic military vehicles. There are already guides which covers tanks and other museum vehicles, but none which cover all types of vehicles, both in museums and in private collections.

Currently, the database is focussed on World War II-era vehicles, but the goal is to cover vehicles of other eras as well.

Our database holds more than 1200 vehicles, in more than 100 collections on six continents. We still need to cover a lot of vehicles, however, and we encourage all visitors to contribute to the database by signing up at our forum.
