Vehicle History
This KV-1B was presented to the School of Tank Technology by the U.S.S.R. in 1943 and after evaluation was donated to the Tank Museum. Dr. Volz states that a Soviet prisoner claimed it was assembled especially to make a good impression in the U.K. and U.S.A. and that a report in Freiburg archives confirms this.
