Vehicle History
IS-2 tank destroyed by landmine (~1944) in Lithuania. All four members died and received burial in the town nearby where the incident occurred.
It was making its way through Eastern Europe heading towards Berlin when it struck a landmine, killing the crew.
It was placed on a podium in a small town (Salantai I think), but was later removed during an effort to remove Russian influence from the country. It can now be found in the entrance of a nearby folk museum in Gargzdele.
