Vehicle History

Built in 1940 by The Sentinel Wagon Company of Shrewsbury, this vehicle finished its working life as a test vehicle at the Military Vehicle Experimental Establishment (MVEE) at Chertsey, Surrey. Fitted with extension arms and flanged wheels it was used to test performance of variable ground pressure in connection with military hovercraft development.
