The presented tractor "Stalinets", produced by the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant in 1940, was raised by local search engines from a 9-meter depth of the lake in the Tver region. A tractor that drowned in the winter of 1942 in Lake Usoditsa became known several years ago. During the war, a winter airfield was located here. A soldier on a tractor was clearing snow from the runway. The ice was not strong: the tracked vehicle sank to the bottom.
Raised in 2013, the tractor turned out to be remarkably well preserved. This model of the "Stalinist" is also unique in its rare factory equipment - with a closed cockpit.
