Vehicle History

The M10 tank destroyer was produced in 1944. Rebuilt to the 17pdr SP 'Achilles' standard at the Royal Arsenal plant in Woolwich. After the war, he was transferred to Belgium, where, after withdrawing from active service, he was used as a training target at the Braaschaat training ground .

In 2015, given as a gift of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Museum of Armored Weapons, it was subjected to a general renovation at the Military Automotive Works in Poznań. An almost 3-year renovation, in which, apart from the Poznań WZMot, the 'Pancerni Magicy' by Artur Zys, the Workshop for the Renovation of Monuments of Military Technology in Wolsztyn and volunteers from the Society of Friends of the Armored Weapons Museum ended with a complete success - a vehicle that can move on its own forces!
