Current Condition

Poor. Is unrestored after being recovered from the desert. Bodywork rusted, tyres split, some parts missing.

Vehicle History

"This vehicle was discovered in the desert in 1980. It was Truck No. 8 of W Patrol, one of the LRDG's original New Zealand patrols. The truck was retrieved in 1983 by Major General David Lloyd Owen, a former commander of the LRDG and chairman of the LRDG Association. It was given to the Museum by the Association."
